About the Magnard Ensemble
Magnard Ensemble is known for creative concert programmes as well as for their inspirational education work. The Ensemble appears at venues such as Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall and Culture & Convention Centre Lucerne, as well as festivals and concert societies nationwide.
In January 2020, they were a selected artist for Chamber Music in Residence at Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh. Their Revolting Rhymes and Marvellous Music project was launched in 2016 to celebrate the centenary of Roald Dahl’s birth. Featured on BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’ programme, the Ensemble has delivered concerts and workshops at over 25 venues including Sam Wanamaker Playhouse and Hay Festival. The recording of this project is available from Orchid Classics.
